Adelaide capital of South Australia, has been described as one of the last well planned metropolis in the world.

This graceful city was the brain child of the city planner, Colonel Light and is the nations centre for culture and the arts. From the superb Festival Centre, where soothing music drifts across the banks of the Torrens River ..... through busy city streets, past stately historic buildings to Victoria Square's impressive fountain sculpture.

We show the Botanical Gardens and the spectacular Glass Conservatory, housing the largest indoor rainforest in the southern hemisphere.

Take a tram ride to historic Glenelg, then to picturesque Birdwood to inspect the National Motor Museum's collection of over 300 classic cars and to Hahndorf, thriving centre of crafts.

Explore Port Adelaide, home to Port Dock Station Museum with over 25 locomotives and the Maritime Museum, where salt encrusted exhibits rekindle a romantic sea faring heritage.

Our cameras take you to the magnificent Murray River and it's ports and then on to the Yorke Peninsula to Moonta, where so much of the State's copper mining history is buried.

We visit Victor Harbour, Adelaide's premier seaside resort and Kangaroo Island, nature's pleasure island.

Savour the tastes of the Clare Valley and Australia's most renowned wine growing region - the world famous Barossa Valley.

This is a memorable journey which captures all the delights of this Mediterranean mecca of the South.
